Francisco Bernis Ornithological Center
per person
It is a must for all ornithologists and nature lovers who visit this unique space in the world. The SEO/BirdLife offices in Doñana are located here, being the driving force that channels a wide variety of conservation activities, ringing, training, environmental education and volunteering.
From its wide terraces it is possible to observe spoonbills, flamingos, ibis, herons, thousands of aquatic birds and, very frequently, the rare Iberian Imperial Eagle. Thanks to the collaboration of Zeiss, the center makes high-end telescopes and binoculars available to visitors. In addition, the Center’s expert staff is at the service of all visitors to offer the most specialized information on the birds of Doñana, the latest sightings of interest, rarities and data on the best routes.
Throughout the year, this center offers a very diverse program of training courses, environmental education workshops, scientific ringing campaigns, talks and volunteer days, activities in which anyone can participate.
